Emma loves to do whatever her big sisters are doing, and she’s on a mission to do just that in her new Corzino X Country Stroller with the help of the Fund For Good grant.

Emma lives with her parents Cindy and Nathan, and big sisters Lily-Anne and Chloe. Together as a family they’ve worked tirelessly over the last 3.5 years helping Emma with her daily therapy programme. Emma has done so well she is now crawling, sitting independently, rolling, learning to pick things up, supporting herself when in a seated position, and has spoken a few words.

When Emma’s existing stroller became too small and broke, standard funding options were only available for a wheelchair as a replacement. Not wanting to put any limitations on Emma or her progress, Cindy and Nathan applied for a Fund For Good grant.

Emma loves to be outdoors enjoying life with her sisters, and doing so with the help of her new stroller provides a sense of inclusion and belonging.

A big congratulations to Emma, one of our successful Fund for Good recipients. Fund for Good is an innovation programme helping to fund special projects and dreams of Manawanui customers which can’t be funded elsewhere. We are so pleased to be able to help Emma get a new stroller and can’t wait to see her outdoors to spend more time with her big sisters, mum and dad!
